Ramya Venkat has been appointed as Director - Integrated Marketing at Abbott. She took to LinkedIn to announce her new role.
Prior to this, Ramya Venkat was with Unilever for over 14 years. She last held the position of Senior Regional Brand Manager – Indulekha.
“As the song goes, every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end. My time at HUL has been nothing short of remarkable and I want to thank everyone who has been a part of my journey. I’m excited for this next professional chapter I’m about to embark upon. I’m starting a new position as Director Integrated Marketing at Abbott”, her LinkedIn post said.
Venkat joined Unilever in March 2010 as Assistant Brand Manager - Wheel, Sunlight, Magic and went on to take several leadership roles at the company.
Ramya Venkat is a marketing and communications professional with an experience of working on various marketing challenges in the consumer goods industry. She is skilled in communication creation, mix development, brand strategy and brand innovations.
In her previous stints, Ramya Venkat has also worked with Johnson & Johnson and Ogilvy & Mather.
