TV journalist Lavina Raj, who is known in the media industry for her powerful anchoring and ground reporting, bid farewell to the Network18 Group. She had been working as an anchor on the group's Hindi news channel, News18 India, for nearly three years.
Speaking to Samachar4Media, Lavina Raj confirmed her resignation. Regarding her new role, Lavina Raj said she will soon be joining another organization. However, she has not yet disclosed the details of her new role.
The Network18 team hosted a grand farewell party for Lavina Raj upon her departure. Lavina also shared photos of the farewell on social media.
Originally from Rajasthan's Jaipur, Lavina is a seasoned media professional with nearly nine years of experience. Throughout her career, her on-the-ground reporting on major news stories has garnered media attention. Recently, she was seen covering the Bihar elections.
Before joining Network18, Lavina Raj was with the Zee Group for nearly three years. Initially, she spent about a year and a half at the group's regional channel, Zee (Rajasthan), and then spent about a year and a half as an anchor on Zee Hindustan. On this channel, she hosted two prime-time shows: "Mera Rajya Mera Desh" at 7 pm and "Akhand Bharat" at 10 pm.
Speaking of education, Lavina, a graduate in Journalism and Mass Communication from Jaipur National University (JNU), began her media career at News India, Jaipur. From there, she moved on to Network18, via A1 TV and Zee Group, where she has now retired.
