Tammy Henault, the Chief Marketing Officer of the National Basketball Association, has announced that she is stepping down from her role. She shared the news of her departure through a LinkedIn post.
In her role as the CMO, Henault led all global marketing efforts for the NBA and its affiliate leagues to engage fans and further the organisation’s mission to inspire and connect people everywhere through the power of basketball.
“After nearly three remarkable years as the CMO of the NBA, I'm excited to share that I'll be embarking on a new journey, taking a well-deserved "power pause" to explore what’s next. What an extraordinary privilege it has been to help grow and evolve one of the most iconic brands in the world — expanding our global audience, deepening fan engagement, driving digital innovation, and strengthening the NBA’s cultural impact”, the LinkedIn post read.
Prior to NBA, Tammy Henault was SVP, Marketing for Paramount+ leading the division responsible for driving brand marketing, partnerships, growth and engagement for the streaming service. Prior to Paramount Global she was at The New York Times, leading customer acquisition and retention for the digital subscription business.
