Shemaroo Entertainment has announced a bigger role for Anuja Trivedi. In addition to leading Marketing, she will now also oversee the Central Strategy team. With this expanded responsibility, Anuja has been named Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer (CSMO).
This move underscores Shemaroo’s focus on long-term strategic growth, integrated brand positioning, and sharper consumer alignment across its diverse portfolio of businesses, stated a press reelase.
Since joining Shemaroo as Chief Marketing Officer in 2023, Anuja has been key in driving brand growth and increasing the visibility of its TV, OTT, and digital platforms. In her new role, she will also lead strategic initiatives, working closely with different teams to create synergies across Shemaroo’s business verticals.
Anuja brings extensive experience across strategy, revenue, and content development. Before joining Shemaroo Entertainment, she held leadership roles at Disney Star, World Gold Council, McKinsey & Company, Morgan Stanley, and PwC. At Disney Star, she led content strategy for TV and digital, boosting Disney+ Hotstar subscriptions and increasing TV market share across key genres.
