Reema Jain has been appointed as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Unilever. She announced the appointment on LinkedIn, saying the new role will give her an opportunity to further use AI and technology to drive business growth.
Jain is an experienced IT and digital transformation professional with more than 20 years of experience. She has led large-scale transformation projects across global capability centres and country operations, with expertise in areas including cloud technology, artificial intelligence, analytics and DevOps.
She previously worked with Unilever from May 2016 to May 2021.
Before returning to Unilever in May 2025, Jain spent more than three years as Chief Information and Digital Officer at Hero MotoCorp. Earlier in her career, she held senior positions at Vodafone and General Electric.
Jain has also been associated with the board of Hero MotoCorp Magneti Marelli Auto Limited, a joint venture between Hero MotoCorp and Marelli. She has also served as a board observer at Ather Energy.
