Parthasarathy M A, widely known as MAPS, has announced that he will be moving on from WPP Media after completing 17 years with the organisation.
MAPS is currently serving as Chief Strategy Officer, South Asia, at GroupM. Sharing the update on social media, he reflected on his journey that began in January 2009, when he joined Mindshare India as Leader – Business Planning during the agency’s restructuring phase. He mentioned that over the years, he had the opportunity to work closely with inspiring leaders and talented teams while taking on a range of roles, including leading Mindshare offices, serving as Chief Product Officer, becoming CEO of Mindshare, and eventually heading Strategy and Consulting at GroupM and WPP Media.
He described his time at the company as a period of constant learning, growth and exploration, shaped by supportive mentors, trusted clients and strong brand partnerships.
Before moving into his current role at GroupM, MAPS spent more than 13 years at Mindshare, where he most recently held the position of Chief Product Officer for South Asia.
