Senior TV journalist Megha Prasad has started her new innings with ABP Network. She has joined the network's Hindi news channel 'ABP News' as Senior Editor (Political Affairs).
Megha Prasad was earlier associated with NDTV as a Senior Editor (Politics). However, her tenure here was quite brief, i.e. only six months. Before this, she was with Times Now for about 17 years.
She has covered 2014 and 2019 general elections, providing comprehensive coverage from across the country, with a special focus on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his political activities.
Megha Prasad headed the Mumbai and West India bureaus at Times Now for nearly 10 years, overseeing coverage of important events like 26/11 attack and the Sheena Bora murder case.
Apart from this, during his tenure in Times Now, she worked as the Gujarat Bureau Chief for four years and did special coverage on many major incidents like: Sohrabuddin fake encounter, Ishrat Jahan encounter, Gujarat riots and SIT investigation of Vadodara riots etc.
