Sri Adhikari Brothers Television Network announced that Chairman and Managing Director Markand Adhikari has stepped down from his role on August 14.
Ravi Adhikari has been appointed the Additional (Non-Executive) Director and designated as the Chairman of the Company. Kailasnath Adhikari has been named Additional Director (Managing Director).
The appointments are in line with the board’s decision to entrust the future of the company to the next generation of leadership. The appointments were announced during an AGM and is subject to shareholder approval.
An accounting graduate from the London School of Economics, Kailashnath is a part of the second generation of entrepreneurs from the Sri Adhikari Brothers family.
Ravi Adhikari has worked along with veterans of the industry like Anand Rai, Satish Kaushik among others. He has vast experience of 17 years working in Media Industry. As the creative backbone of the Company, he has led directorial ventures for the Group, winning several accolades and recognition.
