Ogilvy has appointed Lyndsey Corona as its new US Chief Executive Officer. In this role, she will oversee operations across New York, Chicago, Washington, D.C., and California.
As CEO, Corona will lead all areas of Ogilvy’s U.S. business—including Advertising, PR, Social & Influence, Customer Experience, and Consulting. Her focus will be on strengthening the agency’s integrated offerings, delivering stronger results for clients, developing talent, and driving nationwide growth. She will also serve as the executive sponsor for Ogilvy’s Verizon account. Corona officially steps into the role on January 1 and will report to Laurent Ezekiel, Global CEO of The Ogilvy Group.
Laurent Ezekiel said, “Lyndsey has a remarkable ability to understand our clients' challenges and bring teams together to create bold ideas that not only solve problems but also fuel real business growth. Her entrepreneurial mindset and wide-ranging experience make her an incredible fit for this role and will bring tremendous value as we shape Ogilvy’s future.”
Lyndsey Corona said, “Ogilvy’s strength lies in bringing all creative disciplines together under one roof, guided by some of the best talent in the world. We work as one team to create real business impact for our clients. I’m excited to work with Laurent and the U.S. leadership team as we begin this next chapter.”
With more than 20 years of experience across global agencies, holding companies, and startups, Corona brings a well-rounded perspective to the role. She joined WPP in January as Global Growth Lead for the Verizon account. Before that, she was President & Partner at independent agency Slap Global, where she led the company to major AOR wins with SeatGeek, Petco, and Eastern Mountain Sports, while doubling revenue each year.
During her time at Slap, the agency earned recognitions such as Effies’ Global Independent Agency of the Year and Ad Age Small Agency of the Year—two years in a row. Earlier, she served as Chief Growth Officer at McCann North America and played a key role in launching McCann Entertainment.
Corona also previously held senior roles at TBWA New York, where she led business development and worked as Global Brand Leader for Pernod Ricard and McDonald's.
