Kunal Sood has been promoted to Partner at Pantheon, where he will continue to lead secondaries, fund investments, and direct co-investments across the Asia-Pacific markets. He shared this update on LinkedIn.
Sood brings nearly two decades of experience in private equity, spanning both General Partner roles in direct investments and Limited Partner advisory positions. He joined Pantheon in 2013 as Managing Director and has previously worked with Citi, ICICI Bank and Punj Lloyd.
At Pantheon, Sood is a member of both the Asia and Global Investment Committees and serves as an LP advisory board member and observer for multiple venture, buyout, and growth capital funds across the region. He also chairs the Limited Partners Council for the India Venture Capital Association (IVCA).
His investment focus covers key sectors including healthcare, financial services, TMT, business services, SaaS, and consumer industries.
