Jindal Steel’s Chief Executive Officer Gautam Malhotra has moved on.
The company shared the update through a stock exchange filing, stating that the Gautam Malhotra cites personal commitments as the reason to step down from the role.
Malhotra took over the role in October 2025.
Malhotra’s appointment then came nearly five years after the company’s previous CEO, Sudhanshu Saraf, stepped down in 2020.
He had been with Jindal Steel since May 2024 and has worked across multiple functions, including mining, manufacturing, human resources, logistics, technology, AI implementation and sales.
