Jaguar Land Rover CEO Adrian Mardell to step down

Jaguar Land Rover Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Adrian Mardell will step down, the company has reportedly said. Mardell will be moving on after more than three decades at the company.
A spokesperson for the company said that the 64-year-old had “expressed his desire to retire from JLR after three years as CEO and 35 years with the company.”
Mardell joined Jaguar Land Rover in 1990. He was appointed the interim chief executive in November 2022 after his predecessor Thierry Bolloré resigned. He was formally appointed the chief executive officer in 2023. Earlier, he also held the post of Chief Financial Officer from June 2019. Adrian Mardell had worked with Ratan Tata after Tata Motors Ltd. bought Jaguar Land Rover
The company has said that his successor will be announced in due course.
