Hinge elevates Jackie Jantos to Chief Executive Officer

Hinge has named Jackie Jantos as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Jantos, who earlier served as President and Chief Marketing Officer, will now lead the company into its next stage of growth and innovation. In her new role, she will continue to focus on helping people create genuine, in-person connections.
As part of the leadership transition, Founder Justin McLeod is leaving Hinge to launch a new AI-focused venture called Overtone. He will stay on as an advisor until March to ensure a smooth handover. Meanwhile, Tamika Young has been promoted to Chief Marketing and Communications Officer after serving as Senior Vice President of Global Communications.
Jackie became part of Hinge in 2021 as the Chief Marketing Officer and later moved up to the role of President in March 2025. Since then, she has used her background in consumer tech and brand building to shape Hinge’s strategic direction and support its growth.
Her approach—combining creativity, culture and technology—has significantly influenced Hinge’s brand evolution. Campaigns like “No Ordinary Love” and “It’s Funny We Met on Hinge,” part of the “Designed to be Deleted” platform, have helped the brand connect strongly with Gen Z and expand its reach.

Jackie spent her early years in Japan and has built her career shaping global brands and businesses. She played an important role in Spotify’s growth leading up to its 2018 IPO and led major brand initiatives during her time at Coca-Cola. At Hinge, she has driven the app’s international expansion, including launches across Europe and, more recently, in Mexico and Brazil.
She has also woven social impact into the company’s broader strategy, helping launch One More Hour—Hinge’s initiative encouraging real-life social connections by supporting community groups—showing how a brand can grow while contributing positively to society.
