Google has named Ragini Das as the Head of Google for Startups in India. She announced her new role through a post on LinkedIn.
In her new position, Ragini will work with startups, helping them grow by connecting them with the right people, tools, and guidance across global networks.
Talking about her journey, she shared that back in 2013, she had interviewed with both Google and Zomato. While she didn’t clear Google’s final round at the time, she joined Zomato, where she spent six years gaining valuable experience. She said that phase helped shape her career, taught her resilience, and eventually led her to co-found leap.club.
Ragini das brings over 12 years of experience in building consumer-tech brands, having worked with companies like Zomato and leap.club. Over the course of her career, she has also been associated with Aludecor, Standard Chartered Bank, and Trident Group India.
She expressed excitement about joining Google and taking on a role where she can support and empower startups at scale.
