Giorgio Armani’s deputy managing director Giuseppe Marsocci is set to be appointed the Chief Executive Officer of Giorgio Armani, according to media reports.
Marsocci, who has been with the company for over two decades, currently serves as Global Chief Commercial Officer. He will succeed the brand’s founder Giorgio Armani, who passed away in September.

As per reports, Marsocci had long been considered a frontrunner for the position, alongside Daniele Ballestrazzi, the group’s Chief Operating and Financial Officer since 2015.
Giorgio Armani co-founded his namesake label in 1975 with business partner Sergio Galeotti. He built one of the world’s most recognisable fashion houses. The group today spans ready-to-wear, haute couture, accessories, eyewear, fragrances, interiors, and hospitality. Its annual revenues were reported at around Euro 2.3 billion in recent years.
The brand is often credited with popularising the unstructured suit jacket. Armani reshaped men’s and women’s tailoring in the 1980s and became a fixture on Hollywood’s red carpet.
