Dentsu Creative has promoted Shoubhik Roy to the role of Executive Creative Director, elevating him from his previous position as Group Creative Director (Copy) at the agency.

Roy's rise through the ranks has been steady. He has been serving as Group Creative Director - Copy at Dentsu Creative Isobar, where he worked alongside Chief Creative Officer Abhijat Bharadwaj and CEO Sahil Shah on the agency's marquee accounts.

His recent credits include campaigns for Adani's "Seva" initiatives across the Maha Kumbh and Jagannath Puri Rath Yatra, as well as creative work for Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI).

Before that, Roy held the position of Creative Director at Dentsu Creative India, where he was a regular voice in industry conversations. Before his stint at Dentsu Creative, Roy built a distinct career as a director and executive producer at Magik Lantern Films, where he was recognised as one of the few director-turned-creative-producers in the country. During this period, he directed and produced television commercials for brands including Aviva, Pidilite, Hyundai, Suzuki, Complan, and BSNL, and worked on campaigns for Sony, including the Sony Xperia Z campaign featuring Katrina Kaif.

With his elevation to ECD, Roy joins Dentsu Creative's growing leadership bench as the agency continues to expand its creative and strategic capabilities across markets.
