Deepspatial, a GeoAI-driven technology and solutions company focused on delivering real-world impact across governance, education, and enterprise ecosystems, has announced the appointment of Rajeev Pandey as Senior Director – Strategic Initiatives & Growth.
In his new role, Rajeev will lead New Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, and Key Growth Initiatives, while also supporting internal product architecture frameworks and long-term strategic planning. His mandate includes strengthening Deepspatial’s market presence, accelerating scalable growth opportunities, and enabling outcome-driven collaborations across public and private sector ecosystems.
Rajeev brings over three decades of global techno-commercial leadership with deep experience across BFSI, government, defense, healthcare, energy, and utilities, having lived and worked across India, the United States, Japan, Europe, and Southeast Asia. His career spans leadership roles with organizations such as IBM (Global Business Services), Tech Mahindra, National e-Governance Division (NeGD, MeitY), National Institute for Smart Government (NISG), iHub Anubhuti–IIIT Delhi Foundation (DST), and InfoStride Technologies, among others.
Among his most notable contributions, Rajeev was a key contributor to India’s “One Government” digital ecosystem (IndEA) under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, working closely with multiple ministries, states, and cross-functional working groups to advance nationwide digital transformation maturity models aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Under the IndEA framework, initiatives such as MeghEA-driven from MeitY through strong inter-ministerial and state-level collaboration, received the prestigious UN WSIS Award, reflecting the collective effort of diverse stakeholders across the governance ecosystem.
He has also played a significant role in advancing AI adoption within Indian government systems, contributing to improved service delivery, interoperability, and data-driven decision-making at scale through collaborative, ecosystem-led approaches.
During his tenure at IBM, Rajeev contributed to several large, complex global transformation engagements across BFSI, utilities, healthcare, and government sectors, supporting cloud migration, application modernization, enterprise architecture roadmaps, and hybrid delivery models across the US, Europe, and Japan. At Tech Mahindra, he was closely involved in enabling strategic pre-sales and solutioning for large public sector, defense, BFSI, and smart city programs.
More recently, at iHub Anubhuti–IIIT Delhi Foundation, Rajeev played a key leadership role in strengthening industry partnerships, promoting innovation-led incubation models, and aligning the organization with national mission objectives through collaboration with startups, academia, government agencies, and technology partners. At NISG, he contributed to regional capacity building, digital governance initiatives, and multi-state programs, supporting the adoption of scalable, award-recognized digital platforms through close coordination with state governments and institutions.
