Cheil X, part of the Cheil SWA Group, has announced key leadership changes across its India offices. The agency has appointed Ritesh Rao as Head of Operations for its Mumbai office, while Kanika has been promoted to Head of the Delhi office from her earlier role as Vice President.
In his new role, Ritesh Rao will oversee operations and support business growth for Cheil X in Mumbai. He brings more than 20 years of experience across integrated marketing, brand building, growth strategy, and client management. Before joining Cheil X, Ritesh served as CEO of 26FIVE Global Lab. His previous leadership roles include stints at Creativeland Asia, Isobar, and Lowe Lintas.
Commenting on his appointment, Ritesh said that strong creativity remains central to effective advertising. He shared his excitement about joining Cheil X at a time when creativity, technology, and culture are coming together rapidly, and said the agency’s integrated approach offers a strong platform to deliver meaningful and impactful work for clients.
Kanika, who now leads the Delhi office, highlighted Cheil X’s strength as an integrated, tech-driven marketing agency. She noted that the agency’s ability to offer everything from brand strategy and creative to commerce, customer experience, and performance marketing under one roof helps brands address complex challenges in a fast-changing market.
