Senior journalist Ashok Singh has ended his nearly 18-year tenure at the Hindi news channel Aaj Tak. He joined the channel in July 2008 and served as Managing Editor (Politics).

Speaking to Samachar4media, Ashok Singhal confirmed his resignation. Regarding his new career, he said he would soon be starting a new venture with a major media organization, details of which he would disclose later.

Ashok Singhal, a resident of the Narwana area of ​​Jind, Haryana, has nearly 33 years of media experience. He entered the media industry with the newspaper "Jansatta." At that time, Om Thanvi was the editor in Chandigarh, and Prabhash Joshi was the editor in Delhi. Later, Ashok Singhal joined the newspaper "Rashtriya Sahara." He then entered the television world, spending a few months at NDTV. He then worked with "Zee News" for nearly 12 years. After that, he joined "Aaj Tak," and has now said goodbye to the newspaper.

Ashok Singhal, who maintains a distance from social media, is said in media circles to always prioritize his work and, through his hard work, has earned a special recognition among millions of viewers across the country. Having broken thousands of news stories related to Parliament and the Prime Minister's Office, he remains active and influential in the TV news media arena. In his nearly 30-year TV media career, Ashok Singhal has rarely been away from work. Now, he has taken a brief break and will begin his next innings with a new platform in a few days.
