Anupriya Acharya steps down from DB Corp as Independent Director

Acharya has decided to move on 'due to preoccupation and other professional commitments'

DB Corp has informed the BSE that Anupriya Acharya, an Independent Director, has tendered her resignation, which will take effect on May 15, 2025.

Acharya has decided to move on “due to preoccupation and other professional commitments.” 

“Consequently, she will also cease to be the chairperson/member of the Committees of the Board, in which she is the chairperson/member, as the case may be. Ms. Anupriya Acharya has confirmed that there are no other material reasons for her resignation other than those mentioned above,” said the company.

Acharya, CEO of Publicis Groupe South Asia, commands nearly three decades of excellence in media and advertising across India and Southeast Asia. A seasoned leader with 18 years in CXO roles across WPP, Aegis, and Publicis, she is also an active industry influencer. She also holds positions on the boards of BARC, AAAI, MRUC, MMA, ASCI. She has been recognised in Fortune Magazine's Most Powerful Women in Business List for three consecutive years, Business Today's Most Powerful Women in Business List for 2023 and is also a Forbes' W-Power Trailblazer.
