Amazon is restructuring the leadership of its Alexa division, with Aidan Marcuss set to take over from Daniel Rausch.
Rausch will step away from the unit next month after more than three years as Vice President of Alexa and Echo, as per news reports.
Rausch, who has spent 17 years at Amazon, is expected to move to another role within Amazon’s Devices and Services division in 2027.
Marcuss, who joined Amazon from Microsoft in early 2025, currently oversees Fire TV, advertising and the Amazon Appstore. He recently supervised the launch of a new Fire TV Stick.
Meanwhile, Kevin Keith, Amazon’s Vice President of Product and Marketing, will retain his current responsibilities while temporarily taking on Marcuss’ existing portfolio, news agencies have quoted the company as saying.
