Alberto Knapp Bjeren has been appointed as WPP's new President in Spain. The company shared the news of his appointment through a LinkedIn post. “We're delighted to appoint Alberto Knapp Bjeren as WPP's new President in Spain”, the company stated in a LinkedIn post.
The company stated that Alberto will continue to hold his role as Executive Chairman of VML THE COCKTAIL. He has over 25 years of experience at the forefront of the digital economy, bringing a wealth of expertise, a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a deep understanding of our evolving industry.
Alberto has also launched several successful startups before starting one of the leading digital consulting firms in Spain and Latam, is an active investor in internet startups and helps entrepreneurs through startup accelerators like Seedrocket, Wayra, and AIEI (Internet Investors and Entrepreneurs Association).
He is also partner and advisor at Seaya Ventures, a Venture Capital dedicated to growth and later-stage internet companies like Cabify and Glovo.
