TRAI has appointed Ritu Ranjan Mittar and Maruthi Prasad Tangirala as new whole-time members for a period of three years, as per media reports.
R R Mittar is former Head & Advisor, Telecommunication Engineering Centre. He is an ITS officer of 1985 batch having experience of over 30 years of services in various capacities in Department of Telecommunications, Government of India. Before taking over the charge of Sr. DDG & Head TEC, he was DDG (Telecom Security) in TEC New Delhi.
Maruthi Prasad Tangirala has earlier worked in the Department of Telecommunications, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India, and Union Public Service Commission.
