Telugu music channel Gemini Life to adopt new look in 2014

Gemini Life, the Telugu music channel from Sun Group, is all set to don a new look from January 1, 2014. The content has been repackaged to rejig the memories of the viewers with classic yesteryears songs. The aim is to reconnect the viewers to the stars through music and make the viewers relive their good times.

Announcing the changes, SJ Clement, Network Programming Head, Sun TV Network said, “With its new set of programmes starting from January 1, 2014, Gemini Life will offer a fine selection of all-time classic hit songs, live musical events and weekend special movies from Gemini TV’s largest repertoire of movie library. Our fresh approach to programming and presenting the content in a newly packaged look and feel will enable our viewers to relive their past through a treasure trove of classic yesteryear songs and films.”

He added, “A time-band for reminiscing every genre, an episode for every hit movie’s songs and an entire channel for evergreen songs is sure to pamper music enthusiasts of Telugu cinema. True to our promise, the audience can look forward to a new experience in the new year ahead through Gemini Life.”

The new shows that have been repackaged include ‘Sumadhura Sangeetham’, ‘Marapuraani Pata’, ‘Sayantra Sarigamalu’, ‘Prema Keratam’ and ‘Patala Chirugaali’. The channel is also planning to include several special shows dedicated to music directors, artists, singers and lyricists.
