Marketing guru and heaven's new strategist: Bhaskar Das aka BD

It was my first day in the corporate world—a young, nervous professional stepping into a corner office with a nameplate that read: Bhaskar Das. Or as we fondly called him, BD. Little did I know that behind that name was not just a media doyen but a mentor who would change how I looked at work, life, and leadership.

Bhaskar Das wasn’t just a leader—he was a Guru in the truest sense. He was the architect of iconic initiatives like Brand Equity and Corporate Dossier, products that redefined industry standards and became benchmarks of excellence. Clients were always in awe of his path-breaking ideas, his impeccable oratory, and his arsenal of marketing jargons that could make even Shashi Tharoor nod in approval.

One of his favourite quotes stays with me to this day: “Learning is the best anti-aging cream.” And he lived by it. His boundless curiosity, sharp intellect, and love for innovation made him truly Forever Young.
