BIG CBS Networks refreshes programming; ready to launch an HD Channel

BIG CBS Networks unveils 25 hours fresh programming each week on BIG CBS Prime and BIG CBS Love. The programs will be promoted using the 360 degree platform, with strong digital support and niche alliances. The network is also all set to launch the BIG CBS HD channel with the best of HD content from the library this quarter and BIG RTL next quarter.

BIG CBS Networks refreshes programming; ready to launch an HD Channel

BIG CBS Networks, Pvt. Ltd, an equal venture between Reliance Broadcast Network Limited and CBS Studios international, will soon come on air with new programming line-up. The channel will offer the latest seasons of programming, airing concurrent to the US. The channel has acquired fresh content from leaders in international entertainment space like Boman Bridge, Alfred Haber, Bobby Goldstein and Medi-Asia.

The network with this will offer the audiences a further assortment of programming, and advertisers, a niche platform to partner with for their brands. Currently BIG CBS has around 40 brands advertising through its platform. The channel is investing around 10 crores on its marketing initiatives. The network will soon focus on digital promotions along with its other multi-media conglomerate for its CBS properties.

With digitalisation and HD being the future of entertainment, The BIG CBS channels re-geared to serve superior quality HD content and are in talks with several DTH and cable operators to explore distribution alliances.

BIG CBS Prime the channel that targets the urban SEC A, males will introduce shows like The Defenders, Hawaii5.0, Survivor, South Pacific and Lucha libre this quarter. The channel also brings successful program formats from Bloomberg UTV- Aspire which will bring the vest of everything that men want along with Big wheel which is powered by AutoCar India.

The programming strategy of the BIG CBS Network, from the beginning was to offer Indians home grown shows, tailored to suit local tastes. In keeping with the same, the channel hosted a successful season of India’s Sexiest Bachelor. The channelis now to launch its next big locally produced show India’s Glam Diva where 10 top diva’s of India across the field of glamour, entertainment, business and sports will compete for the coveted title, judged on the characteristics of mind, body and soul.
On the other hand, the channel will launch its radio property Jo Fit Hai Who Hit hai along with Kid Nation, Rules of Engagement, Canada’s Next Top Model, followed by New Zealand’s Next Top Model on BIG CBS Love.
