Senior TV journalist Rohit Sawal has moved on from ABP Network. He served as Vice President (News and Programming) and Output Head at the network's Hindi news channel, ABP News. Sawal also hosted the prime time show "Bharat Ki Baat" at 8 pm. Speaking to Samachar4media, Rohit Sawal confirmed his resignation. September 30 is his last working day at the organization.

About his next move, Rohit Sawal said that he is working on some special projects and will announce it soon. Meanwhile, according to reliable sources, Rohit Sawal is preparing to launch a digital platform.

Rohit Sawal has nearly 20 years of media experience. Previously, he served as editor of ABP Ganga.

Rohit briefly left mainstream media before joining ABP Ganga. However, he returned to media after about a year, starting a new stint with ABP News' UP-UK regional channel in March 2019. After working with the ABP Group for about a year and a half, Rohit returned to the ITV network. This was his second stint with ITV, joining India News (National) as Executive Editor.

Rohit, who began his journalistic career with the ETV Group in 2004, joined the ITV Network in 2009. With ETV, he handled both desk and anchoring duties in Hyderabad. He also anchored India News, the national channel of the ITV Network. He played a key role in the launch of the group's Haryana and UP-UT channels.
