Week 15 of RAM Ratings 2018 witnessed radio channel Big FM taking over Radio Mirchi in Kolkata. Meanwhile, Fever continued to rule Mumbai and Delhi and Radio City over Bangalore.
This week, in the Mumbai universe of 12.2 million listeners, Fever FM took the top spot with 15.5 per cent, followed by Radio Mirchi and Radio City. The latter two retained their spots with 14.1 and 13.6 per cent share respectively. Big FM and Red FM also held on to their fourth and fifth spots with 12.9 per cent and 10.3 per cent share. Early morning, followed by mid-morning and morning time band, observed the highest listenership on total radio.
Fever continued to dominate the Delhi market in a universe of 16.5 million listeners with improved 19.4 per cent share. Radio City and Radio Mirchi took the second and third positions with 12.7 per cent and 11.9 per cent share respectively. Radio Nasha ranked fourth with an 11.7 per cent share while Air FM2 Gold continued to hold on to its fifth spot with 10.7 per cent share. Night followed by afternoon and morning time band observed the highest listenership on total radio.
In Bangalore, Radio City maintained its leadership position with 26 per cent share in the universe of 5.3 million listeners. Big FM, Radio Mirchi and Fever FM took the second, third and fourth spots with 17.8 per cent, 16.8 per cent and 13.8 per cent respectively. Red FM took the fifth spot with 6 per cent share. Here, evening, followed by mid-morning and afternoon time band, observed the highest listenership on total radio.
Big FM overtook Radio Mirchi to lead the Kolkata market with 20.7 per cent share, followed by Radio Mirchi and Fever FM which garnered 19.2 per cent and 17.3 per cent shares respectively. Aamar FM took the third spot with 9.4 per cent share. Meanwhile, Red FM took the fifth spot with 9.3 per cent share. Morning followed by afternoon and mid-morning time band, observed the highest listenership on total radio.
