RAM Ratings Week 1, 2018: Fever topping Mumbai and Delhi

Meanwhile, Radio City and Radio Mirchi dominated in Bangalore and Kolkata respectively

The first week of 2018 of RAM Ratings witnessed Fever topping Mumbai and Delhi as usual with the highest listenership. Meanwhile, Radio City and Radio Mirchi dominated in Bangalore and Kolkata respectively.
This week in the Mumbai Universe of 12.2 million listeners, Fever FM continued to lead the market with 15.8 per cent share followed by the Radio City and Radio Mirchi with 13.5 and 12.9 per cent share respectively. Big FM slipped to fourth spot with 12.7 per cent while Red FM retained its fifth spots with 11.4 per cent share. Early morning followed by mid-morning and night time band observed the highest listenership on the total radio. 
Fever continued to dominate the Delhi market in a universe of 16.5 million listeners with 19.9 per cent share. Radio City held on to its second spot with 12.3 per cent share while Radio Mirchi moved up to the third spot with 12.1 per cent. Radio Nasha slipped to the fourth spot with 11.9 per cent while AIR FM2 Gold held on to its fifth spot with 11.3 per cent of share. The mid-morning followed by night and evening time band observed the highest listenership on the total radio.
In Bangalore, Radio City maintained its leadership position with 24.3 per cent share in the universe of 5.3 million listeners. Big FM, Radio Mirchi and Fever FM held on to its second, third and fourth spot with 17.7 per cent, 16.4 per cent and 14.7 per cent share. All the above radio stations witnessed a drop in their ratings surprisingly. Air FM Rainbow moved up to the fifth spot with 6.5 per cent share. Here evening followed by mid-morning and afternoon time band observed the highest listenership on the total radio. 
Kolkata market was dominated by Radio Mirchi in the terms of share by 20.7 per cent followed by Big FM and Fever. Both interchanged their spots with 17.9 per cent and 17 per cent share. Amar FM and Red FM retained its fourth and fifth spots with 9.6 per cent and 9.2 per cent share. Afternoon followed by mid-morning and morning time band observes the highest listenership on the total radio.
