Radio Mirchi Q3 FY25: Revenue drops 5% YoY; Digital growth offers silver lining

The company’s digital revenues stand at Rs 15.4 crore in Q3FY25, constituting 26% of radio revenues, up from 13.4% in Q3 FY24

Entertainment Network (India) Ltd, the operator of Radio Mirchi, has posted consolidated revenue from operations in Q3 FY25 at Rs 158.89 crore, a decline of 4.7% YoY from Rs 160.60 crore in the preceding fiscal's corresponding quarter. 

The net profit for the quarter saw a nosedive of 61% YoY, where it amounted to Rs 9.26 crore in Q3 FY25 and Rs 23.94 crore in the similar quarter of FY24. Nevertheless, the Group has managed to go profitable in Q3 after facing a loss of Rs 4 crore in the quarter ended 31 September 2024 (Q2).

“The company’s digital business, including Gaana, delivered robust growth, with digital revenues at Rs 15.4 crore in Q3FY25, constituting 26% of radio revenues, up from 13.4% in Q3FY24. This underscores the strong demand for the new Gaana product,” the company said.

Yatish Mehrishi, CEO, ENIL, said, "Q3FY25 was a challenging quarter for the radio industry, impacting radio ad revenues. However, we are pleased with the overall response for the new version of Gaana, which has contributed to sharp increase in digital revenues during the quarter. At the same time, our ability to create compelling audience experiences and solutions for our partner brands has fueled a 21% growth in experiential business.”

Tre Group primarily caters to the domestic market and has presence in the United States of America, Qatar and Bahrain.
