Radio Mango launches its fifth FM station in the UAE

Radio Mango has launched its fifth station, this time in the UAE. Radio Mango is the first radio network from Kerala and the second in India to launch a station internationally.

The programming will closely resemble the format followed in Kerala and will include news and specials provided by Malayala Manorama’s newspaper, TV and Online divisions.

Commenting on the expansion, Ravi Nair, Director - Programmes, Radio Mango said, “Our main strength will be our deep understanding of the Malayalee audience, coupled with our strong presence in their homeland. We are offering a vastly differentiated content from what is currently available here and have an extremely competent team to deliver it. We are very excited to be in a vibrant country like the UAE and are confident that the Malayalees here will welcome us with open arms.”

Radio Mango will be the fifth entrant in the Malayalam FM scene in the UAE. Currently operating in the region are Hit FM, Gold FM, Super FM and Radio Me.
