Iconic radio presenter John Peters is no more. He was 75.
Peters was known as the "giant of East Midlands radio" and was associated with commercial radio for 50 years, including the BBC.
Peters also recently hosted a weekly vintage charts show on Boom radio, a BBC report said.
One of his long-running shows was Trent Top 30.
His final recorded programme has not been telecast yet and will be played in his honour next Sunday, the Sun has reported.
