Delhi Press has appointed Sabyasachi Ghosh as its Advertising Sales Director. Ghosh will be leading the advertising sales function across the group publications. Delhi Press publishes 32 magazines in nine languages that include titles such as Grihshobha, The Caravan, Woman’s Era, Champak, Sarita and Saras Salil.
At Delhi Press, Ghosh will be in charge of managing the revenue stream for the group -- from advertising and sponsorship activities for its magazine brands, online sites, events and reader activations. His mandate is to work out the strategic and tactical programs for unlocking the latent values in many of the group’s publications, developing marketing extensions around the existing portfolio, as well as nurturing some of the recent launches and acquisitions. Ghosh will be reporting to Anant Nath, Director, Delhi Press.
Ghosh’s appointment comes on the heels of induction of V Natarajan as Vice President – Brand Marketing and Strategy. Natarajan is spearheading the overall responsibility of brand management of Delhi Press magazines and also reports to Anant Nath.
While no stranger to the print domain, Ghosh’s earlier experience comes from the media agency side of the business. Before joining Delhi Press, his print experience came from Ananda Bazaar Patrika, where he has spent four years heading advertising sales for ABP and Telegraph, and later the company’s magazines division. Prior to that, he was with GroupM, where he spent close to 17 years in various roles, spanning both domestic and international markets. He started his marketing career in Response division of Times of India in Kolkata in 1988. Ghosh has a BA in Economics from Jadavpur University and an MBA from IISWBM, Calcutta University. For more updates, be socially connected with us on
