He also serves as the Managing Director of Sakal Media Group, one of India's most prestigious and oldest family-owned media houses, founded in 1932. Under his leadership, Sakal has expanded beyond print, embracing television, magazines, books, and digital platforms to remain at the forefront of modern media.

His work extends far beyond journalism. He has led Foxberry Technologies, specializing in smart city solutions, and APG Learning, a platform that has trained over 300,000 students in agriculture, finance, technology, and management, contributing to India's skilling revolution.

Pawar’s leadership is not confined to business; he has spearheaded numerous initiatives to drive nationwide transformation. One of his most recognized contributions is the Pune Bus Day, a campaign aimed at addressing traffic congestion in Pune and Pimpri, cities with a combined population of over 7 million. The initiative not only raised awareness about sustainable urban transport but also contributed to environmental goals.

In partnership with PEMANDU, he developed joint models aiding government projects, and his collaboration with the Tel Aviv Municipal Corporation brought advanced smart city solutions to India.
