Delivery app Zepto and match-making platform Shaadi.com's internet banter has caught the attention of the internet, who are piqued by a peculiar exchange between the CEOs of the platforms.
It all started when Zepto’s billboard asking, “Manyavar chahiye?” got a response from Shaadi.com with their billboard: “Var chahiye?”. But the bromance took off when Anupam Mittal took the banter further, asking Aadit Palicha directly: “Vadhu chahiye?” (Looking for a bride?).
Palicha's loyalty to Zepto was unwavering, as he replied: “I’m married to Zepto .”
Mittal hit back with, “Kyun pet par laat maar rahe ho?” and Palicha added responded with: “Mom LinkedIn par hain! Let’s take this offline .”
Kaivalya V, Zepto’s other co-founder, slid into the comments with: “Sending this to aunty .”
Comments poured in as fans declared this the startup bromance of the year. Some joked about setting up Shaadi.com profiles for Zepto founders, while others speculated on a future Shaadi.com-Zepto partnership: “Find love and get your wedding snacks in 10 minutes.”
