Pitch CMO Bangalore 2019: S Ravi Kant, Titan, to deliver keynote address
Arjun Ranga, MD, Cycle Pure Agarbathies will deliver the valedictory address at the Pitch CMO Summit Bangalore 2019, to be held at The Taj MG Road on Thursday, May 30, 2019
The Pitch CMO Summit -Bangalore 2019, with The Hindu as the Presenting Partner and HT Digital as the Associate Partner will be held at Taj MG Road, Bangalore from 12 pm. The theme for the Bangalore Summit is ‘Demystifying Brand Building Experience’.
At, the Pitch CMO Summit – Bangalore this year, the process of brand building and the elements that go into making a brand stand out from the rest. An esteemed line-up of speakers will discuss how brand-building is being transformed in the digital age.
Kicking off the Summit will be Keynote Speaker, S Ravi Kant, Chief Executive Officer - Watches and Accessories, Titan Company Limited. Kant heads the Watches & Accessories business of the Company, since 2015, as its CEO and Executive Vice President. He also handles the additional responsibility of leading Corporate Communications for the Company.
Delivering the Speaker Session at the Summit would be Abhishek Ganguly, Managing Director, PUMA India. Ganguly leads PUMA’s India business. He was appointed as the Managing Director in 2014 and has since grown India revenues by 70% while leading PUMA to become the largest brand in the space of sports and lifestyle in India.
Preeti Reddy, CEO South Asia, Insights Division, Kantar will also deliver a Speaker Session at the Summit. An MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur, Reddy has over three decades of experience in consumer marketing, consulting, and research, helping leading Indian and multinational companies to make informed decisions using consumer understanding. Her consulting and research experience cover a multitude of industries – FMCG, durables, retail, and services.
Also sharing his thoughts at the Summit is Ganesh Kumar Sundararaman, SBU Chief Executive - Staples, Snacks & Meals, ITC Ltd- Foods Division. He was a key member of the core team that developed ITC’s diversification plans into Foods in the years 2000 – 02 and went on to lead the effort of developing and establishing of category value chains across Staples, Snacks and Noodles verticals. “Aashirvaad, Kitchens of India, Bingo! and Yippee! are the brands that anchor the consumer end for these businesses. His work at the farm end extends across Wheat, Spices, and Potato in the development of these businesses.
Moving on, we also have Rajesh V Menon, Head- Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) & New Business at DIAGEO India. A seasoned marketing professional, Rajesh heads the business function, he is responsible for all the commercial, marketing and operational aspects of Royal Challengers Bangalore comprising: Match Day Revenue, New Business, Partnerships, Marketing, venue management & cricket operations.
The valedictory address will be delivered by Arjun Ranga Managing Director, Cycle Pure Agarbathies & CEO of N. Ranga Rao & Sons, the flagship company of NR Group. Under his able leadership, the Group has recently ventured into the online space with ‘Soulveda’, a portal that aims to encourage people to engage with their inner spirituality to spread happiness and well-being. Another initiative, PurePrayer is an App that helps to connect devotees to the divine and one more App PurePuja that supports and imparts guidance on our puja traditions. Arjun Ranga is also now the Vice president of All India Agarbathi Manufacturers Association and the Chairman of CII, Mysore Chapter.
