Katrina Kaif celebrates her birthday today and she is not only a sought after face in Bollywood but also a name every brand wants on board. According to experts, the 36-year-old actress has got as much as 50% hike for the 6 new brand endorsements related to beauty and fitness, cars, tourism, and real estate.

While talking to exchange4media, brand expert Jagdeep Kapoor said that Katrina Kaif has got a sudden hike in her brand endorsement fee. According to Kapoor, when it comes to style, grace and performance, Katrina is a brand in herself.

“I am surprised that she has got only a 50% hike. She should have got a 100% hike. The brands she endorses have their image, perceived value and sales enhanced. Despite the competition, she has unique traits and stands out amongst others,” added Kapoor. Kapoor also believes that the brand value of Katrina Kaif will grow even more in the coming years.

Recently leading fitness brand Reebok has announced Bollywood actor and wellness enthusiast, Katrina Kaif, as their new brand ambassador in India. This association would further Reebok’s commitment to be the best fitness brand in India. In a public statement, Reebok stated that Katrina, who trains hard towards a fitter and better self each day, embodies the brand's ethos and is an inspiration for today’s generation.

The Bollywood diva, at one stage, had endorsed as many as 20 brands in a year. The actress has carved a niche for herself, not only in the film industry but also among brands. She has a wide range of brand endorsements in her portfolio, which includes soft beverages to cosmetic products and jewellery to mobile-handset.

Dimple Gupta, a strategic brand consultant says that if Kaif continues to choose the brands and products targeted to her age band, then the appeal will remain. “She is the perfect face for big mature brands but she cannot aspire to interest Gen Z” added Dimple.

On the other hand, while talking about her performances in movie Komal Nahata, a popular Bollywood trade analyst says that Kaif is one of the ever-growing actresses of Bollywood. According to Nahata, Kaif is one actress who is at any given time working with one or more of the three Khans. Will we be seeing brand Katrina declining anytime soon? Nahta said, "I don’t foresee her brand diminishing anytime soon because she’s still going strong."

Brand experts say that this sudden hike in Katrina's brand value is not a shocking thing, because the actress has achieved it all with hard-work. Despite being criticized for her acting, Katrina perfectly manages to be on the top. The actress might not have a wide array of films in her kitty but when it comes to brand endorsements, she is at par with some of the top male superstars.
