Digital properties have seen a significant uptick during the nationwide lockdown, but the consumer behavior of regional audiences has been significantly different than that of the Hindi or English media viewers.

Keeping this in mind, exchange4media has organized a virtual discussion today (June 2, 2020) titled, ‘e4m India Brand Conclave - Dakshin Virtual Series’, to understand how regional media can continue to build on engagement and drive consumer trust post COVID-19.

On the panel for the webinar will be B Srinivasan, MD, Vikatan Group; Puneet Singhvi, President - Digital and Corporate Strategy, Network18; Divya Bollareddy, President - IT and Digital - at Sakshi TV & News Paper; Vignesh Vellore, Founder and CEO, The News Minute; and Boby Paul, General Manager, Marketing, Manorama Online.

The session will be chaired by Rohit Raj, Co-founder & Chief Creative Officer, The Glitch.

During the course of the virtual discussion, the industry leaders will discuss ways of combating fake news and challenges in curating content during the lockdown.

Monetization of digital properties still remains a challenge, particularly for news sites. The panel will also shed light upon the challenges faced by regional players to drive revenue along with discussing innovations on the fore and what are the solutions for the advertisers.

The topic of how regional media digital brands can leverage their regional strength will also be part of the deliberation.

With brands looking to cut marketing spends, the panellists will discuss strategies, which will aid in retaining existing clients, getting new clients on board and driving revenue growth.

Many national digital news properties, particularly e-papers and special content, have gone behind a pay wall. The industry leaders will also try to understand how this could be replicated in the regional space, and what is the future of AI, and the role of automation in digital news.

The webinar is scheduled from 3:30PM to 4:30PM. To join the discussion, register at:
