Godrej Group commemorates its contributions towards making of a self-reliant India
The film has been title ‘The Box that Unboxed India’
The Godrej Group celebrated India’s 74th Independence Day with the release of a digital film highlighting the role it has played as nation builders to our country.
Titled the ‘The Box that Unboxed India’, the film opens by recalling Godrej’s contribution to India’s first democratic elections in 1952 when the Group made 1.2 million ballot boxes for the voters, literally ‘unboxing freedom’. It then takes viewers through the Group’s efforts over the decades to build a self-reliant India, through its various businesses spanning Agriculture to Aerospace.
It showcases the Group’s contributions towards building a brighter future for our country by improving education, upskilling India’s workforce and providing greater employment opportunities for the youth whilst also underlining its commitment to sustainability.
