Tanya Dubash, Executive Director & CBO of Godrej Group, turns a year older

Steering the Godrej name forward by combining traditional values with modern innovation, Tanya Dubash, the Executive Director and Chief Brand Officer of the Godrej Group, marked her 56th birthday today on 14 September 1968. She is an A.B. (cum laude) in Economics & Political Science from Brown University, USA, and also an alumna of Harvard Business School. She's a businesswoman, philanthropist, a leader and the mother of two children-Aryaan and Azaar . She is married to industrialist, Arvind Darab Dubash. 

Apart from being the Executive Director, Dubash oversees the Godrej Group's brand and communications functions, including leading the Godrej Masterbrand. She serves as a Director of Godrej Remote Services Ltd and Ensemble Holdings & Finance Ltd. Additionally, she is a director on the boards of Godrej Industries Limited, Godrej Consumer Products Limited, Godrej Agrovet Limited, and Godrej Finance Limited. 

Dubash served as a Trustee of Brown University from 2012 to 2018 and is currently a member of the Brown India Advisory Council and the Watson Institute's board of overseers. She was also a board member of the Bharatiya Mahila Bank from November 2013 to May 2015. Additionally, Dubash sits on the boards of the Customer Value Foundation, AIESEC India, and India@75. She also serves on the boards of Britannia, Escorts, and Go Airlines. 

In 2007, Dubash was recognized by the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader. At the India Today Conclave in 2010, she spoke about the tension between reality and idealism, which made her quite popular for her strong ideals. She's a woman of power and courage to take risks and take such a huge name forward on various forums.
