Colgate-Palmolive Q1FY26: Ad spends dip 5.4% YoY, net profit slips 12%

Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd reported a subdued start to FY26, with both top-line and bottom-line figures reflecting a year-on-year decline for the quarter ended June 30, 2025.
The company reported revenue from operations at Rs 1,420.64 crore in Q1FY26, down 5.3% year-on-year from Rs 1,485.76 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. On a quarter-on-quarter basis, revenue also declined by 2.2% from Rs 1,452.02 crore in Q4FY25.
Including other operating income of Rs 13.42 crore and other income of Rs 17.94 crore, total income for the quarter stood at Rs 1,452 crore, a 4.5% decline YoY from Rs 1,520.11 crore in Q1FY25 and down 2% QoQ from Rs 1,481.57 crore in Q4FY25.
Colgate’s net profit for the June 2025 quarter came in at Rs 320.62 crore, registering a 11.9% decline from Rs 363.98 crore reported in Q1FY25. Sequentially, net profit was also down 9.7%, compared to Rs 355.00 crore in the March 2025 quarter.
Advertising spends for the quarter were Rs 188.41 crore, marking a 5.4% decrease YoY from Rs 199.07 crore in Q1FY25. However, compared to the preceding quarter (Q4FY25), ad spends rose 4.3% from Rs 180.57 crore.
