C K Venkataraman honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award at e4m IMA 2024

C K Venkataraman is the Managing Director of Titan Company

The exchange4media Group hosted the 11th edition of the Indian Marketing Awards (IMA) on January 29 in Mumbai. At the dazzling awards night, CK Venkataraman, the Managing Director of Titan Company Ltd, was honoured with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award for his exemplary leadership and contributions to the industry. The awards night was graced by top industry leaders from the advertising and marketing world.

With a distinguished career spanning decades, Venkataraman has played a key role in shaping the company’s growth, transforming it into a powerhouse across all segments. Bringing around 30 years of experience to the brand, Venkataraman has a proven executive management experience in driving sales growth and marketing innovations in the lifestyle industry.

C K Venkataraman grew up in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, and did his Bachelors in Mathematics. After a couple of years of working, he went on to get his PGDM from IIM Ahmedabad, in 1985 and after 5 years of working in the advertising industry (MAA and Mudra Communications), he joined Titan Company in 1990 as an Advertising Manager.

His visionary leadership, strategic innovations, and customer-centric approach have not only strengthened Titan’s market presence but also redefined industry standards.

Venkataraman spent 14 years in the Watches division of Titan Company, mostly in Marketing and then in Sales and Retailing. He moved into the jewellery division of Titan in 2005, where he spent the next 14 years, heading the division. He took over as the MD of Titan Company on Oct 2019.

Recently, he was named as ET Businessman of the Year, CEO of the Year by Forbes India and under his leadership Titan Company was recognized as the Company of the Year by Business Standard.
