Recently, Apple announced its newest addition to its smartphone series, the much anticipated iPhone 16. While tech enthusiastics were estatic, the internet did what it does best everytime Apple launches a new iPhone — make memes.
Apple's iPhone 16 launch has sent the whole internet into a meme frenzy. Though Tim Cook expected Social media platforms like X and Instagram to be filled with posts lauding the the new iPhones, the platforms are flooded with memes and post comparing the new iPhone 16 to its predecessors, with many memers joking that the design hasn't changed at all. Almost all memes are implying that the iPhone 16 looks almost identical to older models like the iPhone 11.
