IGA 2024 drew some of the most prominent names in the tech industry, with leading brands such as Acer, MSI, Infinix, POCO, and PlayStation showcasing their latest consumer offerings. These companies highlighted products designed to meet both consumer and enterprise needs, emphasising performance, design, and reliability. Industry leaders, technology journalists, and influencers contributed to the event’s reputation as a hub for meaningful discussions on trends and opportunities in the tech sector. Meanwhile, Mini Cooper Countryman and Volkswagen Taigun turned heads at the event. Volkswagen Taigun featuring MediaTek-powered infotainment systems that support 360-degree cameras, wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and video streaming, gave users a glimpse into the future of connected car ecosystems. MediaTek’s in-vehicle infotainment systems are capable of handling tasks like 2D/3D rendering, audio playback, streaming, and navigation. It also features smartphone integration for calls, traffic, and weather updates. MediaTek’s power-efficient processors and advanced graphics deliver smooth, reliable performance, enabling quick decisions and enhancing user experiences.
POCO’s strategic launch
POCO captured attention with the community-driven launch of its new smartphones, the POCO M7 Pro 5G and POCO C75 5G. These were unveiled just a day after their official announcement. This exclusive event emphasised community engagement while highlighting POCO’s commitment to competitive, performance-focused devices. The brand also leveraged user-generated content with a review challenge, encouraging attendees to create short video reviews. Over 100 participants took part, with the most impactful reviews earning POCO smartphones and earbuds.
In the zone
The Gadget Experience Zone emerged as a focal point as it featured over 50 premium devices. This included smartphones, laptops, and gaming consoles. Attendees, including industry professionals, were able to assess devices and experience the latest innovations in hardware and software. From smartphone camera performance tests to hands-on gaming on high-performance laptops, the showcase offered insights into trends and technologies that were a focal point this year.

IGA 2024 added excitement with over 100 giveaways to attendees, including high-end gadgets and accessories. These giveaways not only created buzz but also highlighted products that resonate with both consumers and businesses, ensuring wider adoption and visibility.
Celebrating a celebrity
Aside from honouring the top tech of 2024, the Indian Gadget Awards also recognised Amol Parashar, an acclaimed actor best known for his portrayals of Chitvan Sharma in the web series TVF Tripling. For his achievements, Parashar was presented with the Youth Icon 2024 award at the event!
