With more than 14 years of experience across global enterprises and fast growing startups, Verma brings a rare balance of structure and sensitivity to her work. Her professional foundation was shaped during her years at Google, where she managed advertising spends exceeding 400 million dollars for some of the world’s most recognised brands including Expedia, Equifax, State Farm and Allstate. Working closely with leadership teams across markets, she helped businesses unlock scale through performance driven digital strategies, laying the groundwork for her deep understanding of growth at both brand and business levels.
That experience translated seamlessly into entrepreneurship when she went on to co-found and lead Whiskers Marketing. Over nearly a decade, she built the boutique digital firm into a respected growth partner for emerging and established brands. The agency earned multiple industry recognitions including wins at the Digital Women Awards and exchange4media’s agency awards, reflecting a consistent focus on measurable outcomes, brand integrity and long term value creation.
Beyond client work, Verma has remained deeply invested in the startup ecosystem. Through her founder-led initiative Startup Spotlight with Pooja, she has interviewed over 100 entrepreneurs, creating a space where founders speak candidly about challenges, failures and lessons that often go unheard. The platform has evolved into a knowledge driven archive for aspiring entrepreneurs and ecosystem stakeholders alike, rooted in her belief that collective learning strengthens the entire community.
Today, as Vice President Marketing at Grip, an alternative asset investment platform, Verma leads brand, growth and engagement in a highly regulated, trust led sector. Her role underscores her ability to navigate complexity while building credibility and scale. She is also an active Charter Member of TiE Delhi NCR, contributing to one of India’s most influential startup networks.
An MBA in Marketing from the University of Lucknow and a certification from St Stephen’s College Delhi add academic depth to her journey, which has also been recognised through honours such as BW 40 Under 40 and others.
