Singapore Tourism Board appoints Knack Marketing for South India

The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) has announced the appointment of Knack Marketing as its marketing representative for South India with effect from September 1, 2013. Knack Marketing, which takes over from Falcon Infocomm, will spearhead the operations in Chennai and Bangalore. Falcon Infocomm had represented the STB in Chennai and Bangalore since September 2010.

Knack Marketing will further develop the relationships that STB has forged with the leisure and MICE travel trade and partners in South India and help entrench Singapore as the choice leisure and business destination for Indian travellers.

Chee Pey Chang, Executive Director, South Asia Middle East and Africa, STB remarked, “South India is a major source market for leisure, MICE, overseas school trips and cruise travel to Singapore. STB has been very active in the market for more than a decade now and will continue to work closely with our partners to bring travellers to Singapore. We are confident that Knack Marketing will help us further develop a strong and positive brand perception of Singapore.”

On being appointed as the marketing representatives, Medha Sampat, Founder, Knack Marketing said, “The fantastic connectivity, easy access, great appeal and progressive nature have made Singapore a preferred destination for the Indian traveller. We want travellers from South India to explore more of this dynamic country and enhance their holiday experience.”
