Veteran journalist from Bengal, Biswajit Roy, is no more.
Affectionately known as Madhu Da, the veteran scribe had done meaningful journalism throughout his life, say his peers.
He spent his last few years in Shantiniketan. He has left behind two sons. Roy’s wife passed away in December 2023.
He has written a book on the Gaza conflict in Bengal.
Roy was also working on a book on the views of Indian leaders about the Palestine issue, and has also written on Tagore, Gandhi and Nehru.
