Abdur Rafi has been appointed Chief Information Technology Officer at RICE ADAMAS Group, Kolkata, bringing over 26 years of IT leadership experience to the role.

Before joining RICE ADAMAS Group, Mr. Rafi served as Deputy General Manager – IT and CISO at ABP Pvt. Ltd. In that role, he spearheaded major initiatives across IT infrastructure management, cybersecurity, service desk operations, vendor management, data center development and disaster recovery planning. He played a pivotal role in shaping and implementing corporate IT strategies, automation frameworks and digital transformation roadmaps, while strengthening compliance and enhancing overall network, application and system security.

Founded in 1985 by Prof. (Dr.) Samit Ray, the RICE ADAMAS Group stands as one of West Bengal’s foremost educational conglomerates. The Group operates Adamas University from its expansive 120-acre campus in Kolkata and has made a significant mark in the field of competitive exam preparation through RICE Education.
