Paytm Movies, India’s fastest growing online ticketing platform, is gearing up for one of the year’s most awaited movies – Tubelight. The company expects the movie to be one of the highest grossers of 2017 and has launched advance bookings across India.

Paytm Movies is the official ‘Ticketing Partner’ of Tubelight and Salman Khan Films. Consumers can buy movie vouchers that can be redeemed while booking tickets; select movie-goers will get an opportunity for an exclusive meet-and-greet with Salman Khan, digital autographed posters and merchandise.

Salman’s 2017 emotional potboiler has garnered much enthusiasm since the trailer released on May 25. It has revealed the movie to be about brotherhood, with the power of love and faith in one’s loved ones as the central theme. Given Salman Khan’s track record at the box office with the mammoth and the runaway success of Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Paytm Movies is expecting of Salman and Kabir Khan to repeat the magic of Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Ek Tha Tiger, and churn out a top grosser.

Directed by Kabir Khan, Tubelight stars Salman Khan and Sohail Khan as brothers. Set against the unfortunate Indo-Sino War of 1962, the movie also features Chinese actor Zhu Zhu, child actor Martin Ray Tangu and late Bollywood prodigy Om Puri.

Given Paytm’s massive range of multiplex and local theatres, Salman Khan fans can choose to book tickets at any of the 3,500 screens across 550 cities. The company’s widely popular QR code-based scan-and-book offline ticketing systems will also help ease queues outside crowded booking counters once the movie is launched on June 23.
