Metro shoes buckles up on outdoors this festive season
Metro attempts to draw maximum sales this festive season by using high visibility OOH formats
With festival season round the corner, Metro shoes panned out an outdoor campaign in Punjab, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu for a month. The campaign has been executed by Prime OOH.
It has been observed that Metro in 2012 has gone under a massive expansion across the country and is seen rolling out interesting marketing campaigns too. Metro shoes has also scaled up its presence after bringing in real life couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor on board as brand ambassadors.
The creative message of this campaign has been set against the backdrop of selected prime locations on high visibility media formats at places such as Mahim Causeway, Cadel Road near Hinduja hospital, Bandra at Mosque, Andheri Sahar Road opposite HUL and Western eastern highway in Mumbai and similarly in other campaigned cities.
Commenting on the campaign brief, Roopesh Khangaonkar, Vice President, Primetime Outdoor said, “The client brief for the campaign was to create high visibility at key, strategic catchments, considering end-users as primary target audience, but also create adequate visibility to tap the trade in order to reinforce and enhance brand visibility and salience and also promote the new brand positioning. The campaign will last for a month.”
“Our objective was to ensure wide-spread awareness of the brand offering as well as the tactical communication. The communications have ensured good footfalls and sales on an average of 350 times that of the previous week,” added Khangaonkar.
